About FISPEN

The Finnish Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (FISPEN) promotes evidence-based knowledge and practices in clinical nutrition, nutritional care and metabolism within Finnish health and social care.

FISPEN brings together professionals with an interest in clinical nutrition and supports the development and implementation of high-quality nutritional care in Finland.

Our activities include professional education, seminars and events, networking and collaboration within Finland and with the international clinical nutrition community.

FISPEN is a member society of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).

Membership

Full membership is open to licensed healthcare professionals registered with the Finnish Supervisory Agency, as well as individuals holding a Master's degree or higher in nutrition science, physiology or biosciences.

The FISPEN Board may also accept applicants with another relevant degree as full members upon individual application. All full membership applications are subject to approval by the Board.

Annual membership fees:

  • Full member: €120
  • Junior member: €50
  • Senior member: €70
